Museumification
The definition of 'museum' is changing before our eyes.
Museum are no longer said, muted experiences in which raising one's voice is met with a glance of disdain. 'Musemification' is upon us - a phenomenon in which culture and public spaces are evolving into colorful, loud, artistic and eminently social experiences, both temporary and permanent. Weather via the eternal towering desert sculptures of Burning Man or the Instagram playground of 29 Rooms, people are seeking out creative expression as an extension of their self-image. They are part Picasso, part selfie, and they are all wholly shareable.
